Meet Our Physicians
Our team
Knoxville Sinus Center is powered by the expert staff of Greater Knoxville Ear Nose & Throat. Each physician is board-certified in otolaryngology, qualifying them to treat diseases of the sinuses, ears, nose, and throat in both children and adults.

“I knew from the moment I first set foot in an operating room during medical school that I wanted to be a surgeon. I chose otolaryngology because of the variety of challenges and procedures it offers.”

Christopher J. Rathfoot, M.D.

“I enjoy practicing in all areas of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. I have developed an increased interest in the treatment of sleep apnea and in facial plastics, but I thrive on the diversity of medicine.”

Joseph White, M.D.

“Providing patient care has always been the basis for why I chose medicine. In ENT, that could include medical management, surgery, or even a good conversation.”

Stewart H. Bernard, MD

“As Otolaryngologists, we get to treat a wide variety of diseases and conditions. Whether it is helping someone who has hearing loss, chronic sinusitis, allergies, or voice problems we get to work with patients through their condition, and not only treat disease but hopefully improve their quality of life.”
